The primary focus of my Hot Wheels collection are modern GT3-spec race cars. Of course not all manufacturers release their models simultaneously so there’s an obvious timeline of when cars come out and how they change from generation to generation. Governing bodies rules change over time as well so modern GT3 cars bear huge similarity to GT1 and GT2 machines of the past, which in turn resemble in some way the Prototypes that came before them. Different race cars resemble the requirements of the series they participate in, from circuit racing to rally, and formula spec.
